Yiwu Pt 1 - Departure & Arrival
Introduction
Yiwu is best known for its wholesale markets. People who have not been there would never know what opportunities lie within these markets. The way to find out is to go there, see and experience it yourselves. Make some contacts. Meet the sellers, meet the manufacturers. Buy commodity at low price then make profit when you do business in your own country. You never know, If you are lucky, you can bring back some fortunes.
This is how our journey started.

Departure from KL International Airport KLIA2
From Kuala Lumpur KLIA2, we took D7332 AirAsia X Flight to Shanghai Pudong Airport, it was nearly 5 half hours flight journey. Flight Fare with return ticket, paid an amount of MYR 1030 per pax.
Shanghai Pudong Airport
The plane reached Shanghai Pudong Airport at 4:45 am. Didn’t take long to disembark from the plane. It took a while to queue up to undergo immigration and custom procedures like everyone else that entered a foreign country.
We got on Shanghai Metro line 2 from Pudong Metro Station. We got off at East Nanjing Road Metro Station at around 6 something in the morning, to change to another metro line. We get on board Metro line 10 and finally arrived at Hongqiao Railway Station, very convenient.
Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station
We hurriedly bought the train tickets and managed to get on board 08:20 a.m. G1323 Highspeed Train from Shanghai Hongqiao Station. A second-class seat ticket 二等火车票 to go to Yiwu the train fare about 125 yuan per pax.
Yiwu Railway Station
The train journey takes 1h 40min. Alḥamdulillah الحمد لله , Praise be to God. Finally arrived in Yiwu At 10:00 a.m.
Yiwu Bus 802 Route
Yiwu train station → International Trade City bus stop
Operation time: Early morning 06:20 to evening 21:30
Bus frequency 5-15 minutes
Fare information: 1.5 yuan per pax

Yiwu Railway Station. We started walking following the signs heading for the bus station. Signboards are conveniently written in both English and the local language. The bus station is short distance walk from the train station. Bus 802 was waiting for us to bring us to Yiwu wholesale market. The bus service frequency every 5 to 15 minutes and very convenient, bus fare 1.5 yuan each. Put in the money box beside the driver similar to RAPIDKL , about an hour and a half to arrive at the Trade City.

We got on Bus 802 at a bus stop at Yiwu Train Station. The bus journey took about 1 and a half hour.

Yiwu International Trade City
We got off at International Trade City bus stop located near The International Trade City. This bus stop is located on Shangcheng Avenue. This is Guójì shāngmào chéng yī qū xī dàmén bus stop. 国际商贸城一区西大门.
Checked in at Hotel
At 12 noon we checked in at Jinda Hotel. Distance the bus stop to hotel isn’t far, takes about 5 minutes on foot.
